O-BMW is a paid 4-hour small workshop (max. 18 people), by Prof. Yesha Sivan, designed to enhance your cognitive abilities in three 21st century’s states:
- managing day to day, while
- dealing with stress, and
- harnessing new opportunities.
It is aimed at senior level leaders who want to enhance their personal abilities — specifically managers, innovators, entrepreneurs, and intrapreneurs.

O-BMW is a workshop designed to teach you how to ride a special kind of a bike – the bike of the mind. In this bike:
- the front wheel tells you where to go (=openess),
- the back wheel propels you (=focus),
- the person who sits in the middle master both (=control).
In the 4-hr workshop, we (Yesha and the team) will explain, share, and then train you to be more effective in your cognitive abilities, in three states of the age of innovation:
- managing day to day,
- dealing with stress, and
- harnessing new opportunities.

1. Why Orange Bike?
It is an easy-to-remember metaphor. We will share why we chose the orange color, in the workshop.
2. Could this really make me a better mind rider?
Yes — The workshop is designed as a “wise intervention” (more about that later) that will make you a better mind biker. Here is what people are saying from past 9 international pilot workshops (so pardon some of the English mishaps):
- Bike metaphor simple. Good to bring to the community. People only tend to remember 3 things a time (“open, focus, control”).
- Good packaging and attention to details. A good summary of basic techniques. How to relate tools to the bike.

3. What is “wise intervention”?
It is a relatively short experience that can have a lasting impact on individuals and groups. See the Stanford paper that describes wise intervention

Beta means that we are still fine-tuning this.
5. Who is leading the workshop?
Prof. Yesha Sivan (see www.dryesha.com). Yesha’s work focus is on linking venture, innovation, and digital. The workshop has been developed since 2013, where Yesha took a sabbatical in Hong Kong.
6. Does this relate to being Mindful?
Yes, we are looking for effective ways to “install” mindfulness which is a well-researched domain, with thousands of years of tradition, and that is being practiced by leading firms like Google, McKinsey, General Mills, Aetna, and others (See Harvard Business Review Article). 7. Is there tuition?

The regular cost is $888 + VAT (if needed). You will get an invoice, if you need it, for “Orange Bike Management Workshop.”

8. What will I get?
The tuition includes a short phone interview (after you have registered), the actual workshop — a small gift from us (to help you practice), and 10 days phone (SMS-WhatsApp) “pinging” (more about that on the last part of the workshop.)
9. What is the language of the workshop?
The slides are in English. The lecture language depends on your specific workshop. It will be noted on the registration form.
